A Utah Destination Retreat
You Do Not Have to Know Eagle Mountain to Want to Stay Here
Most travelers do not begin planning a Utah vacation by searching for Eagle Mountain. That is exactly why this property should not be thought of as simply a place to stay in Eagle Mountain.
Come because you want Utah. Come for mountains, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, recreation, family time, pickleball or a week of exploring. Then return each day to a private five-acre setting where the entertainment does not stop when the day’s adventure ends.
Cedar Pass Ranch
Five Acres, Open Sky and Views That Become Part of the Stay
The retreat sits within Cedar Pass Ranch in Eagle Mountain, surrounded by the kind of open Utah landscape that is difficult to recreate in a hotel, resort corridor or suburban vacation rental.
The setting gives families and groups room to spread out, gather outside, watch the landscape change throughout the day and experience Utah from the property itself.
The wraparound view deck, outdoor gathering areas, large lawn, firepit and pickleball courts turn the acreage into living space, not simply scenery beyond the windows.
More Than Vacation Lodging
The Property Is Part of the Vacation
Many Utah vacations revolve around leaving the accommodation every morning and returning only to sleep. This retreat works differently. You can spend the day exploring Utah and still have another full experience waiting when you return.
Play Pickleball
Two oversized professional-style private courts make tournament play, round robins, clinics and group competition possible without leaving the property.
Soak Outside
End an active Utah day in the outdoor jacuzzi while taking in the surrounding setting.
Warm Up in the Sauna
The indoor six-person sauna gives winter groups and active travelers another place to unwind after a day outside.
Watch the Big Screen
A 130-inch theater screen turns movie night, sports or group entertainment into its own event.
Challenge the Group
Pool, foosball and air hockey add indoor competition when the group is not outside.
Gather Around the Fire
Use the outdoor firepit as an evening gathering place for conversation, relaxation and time together.
Private Pickleball Destination
Two XL Courts. One Private Retreat. Build Your Own Tournament.
This is not a vacation rental that happens to be near a public pickleball court. The courts are part of the destination.
Two oversized professional-style pickleball courts give families, clubs, friends and competitive groups enough space to organize private games, round robins, team competitions and tournament-style play.
- Two private XL pickleball courts
- Private group play without waiting for a public court
- Round-robin tournament possibilities
- Family and friends competitions
- Corporate pickleball retreats
- Pickleball club getaways
- Beginner and experienced-player groups
- Stay, play and socialize in the same retreat setting
When the Utah Adventure Comes Inside
The Group Does Not Have to Split Up When the Weather Changes
Snow day, late night, movie night or simply a night when nobody wants to drive anywhere. The house gives groups multiple ways to stay entertained together.
130″ Theater
Create movie nights, watch sports or gather everyone for a large-screen experience.
Pool Table
Keep friendly competition going indoors.
Foosball
Easy entertainment for mixed-age groups.
Air Hockey
Another indoor activity that keeps groups engaged.
Six-Person Sauna
A welcome amenity after skiing, hiking, pickleball or another active day.
Indoor Children’s Playset
Younger guests have dedicated play space even when everyone stays indoors.
Workspace
Desk and office space allow guests to stay productive when work follows them to Utah.
1 Gig Fiber
Fast connectivity supports remote work, streaming and connected group stays.
Outdoor Living
A Five-Acre Retreat Should Give You Reasons to Stay Outside
The acreage is one of the defining parts of the experience. Guests can move between the courts, lawn, deck, play areas, jacuzzi, firepit and other outdoor gathering spaces without having to leave the property.
- Wraparound view deck
- Outdoor jacuzzi
- Outdoor grill
- Group firepit
- Large children’s outdoor playset
- Expansive one-acre lawn
- Double private pickleball courts
- Wide Utah views from multiple sides of the property
- Open acreage for approved group activities
Families & Smaller Groups
Built for the Group That Wants to Stay Together
The home is best suited to overnight groups of fewer than 20 people, including extended families, multi-generational trips, groups of friends, pickleball travelers and small retreats.
The advantage is not packing as many people as possible into bedrooms. It is giving a manageable overnight group access to a much larger destination environment.
Sleep 18+
Keep a smaller family or group together rather than separating everyone across hotel rooms.
Kids Have Space
Indoor and outdoor children’s play areas give younger travelers places designed around them.
Adults Have Space
Sauna, jacuzzi, games, outdoor views, courts and gathering areas allow different generations to enjoy the property differently.
Your Utah Basecamp
Book the House for a Week. Explore a Different Utah Every Day.
A Utah vacation does not have to revolve around one attraction. Use the retreat as a home base and build an itinerary around different parts of the state.
Utah has 15 ski resorts statewide, including major destinations across the Salt Lake, Park City, Heber Valley, Ogden Valley and other regions. The state also supports year-round outdoor travel, from mountain recreation to trails and warm-weather adventures.
- Utah ski and snowboard days
- Mountain hiking
- Pickleball days at the property
- Mountain biking
- ATV and UTV excursions
- Horseback riding
- River and water activities
- Scenic day trips
- Salt Lake Valley activities
- Park City area recreation
- Sundance and Utah County adventures
Drive times vary significantly by destination, traffic, weather and winter road conditions, so groups should plan each day trip around current conditions rather than treating the retreat as ski-in, ski-out lodging.
Stay Longer
Extend the Trip Without Disconnecting From Work
A week in Utah becomes more practical when guests do not have to choose between traveling and remaining connected.
1 Gig Fiber Internet
High-speed connectivity supports remote work, video calls, streaming and connected households.
Desk & Office Space
Dedicated work areas make it possible to handle meetings or focused work without giving up the trip.
Work, Then Play
Finish the workday and move directly into pickleball, the sauna, jacuzzi, game room, firepit or outdoor space.
Corporate Retreats & Team Offsites
Take the Team Out of the Conference Room
Smaller corporate teams can combine focused work time with recreation, private pickleball, outdoor gathering areas and opportunities to connect away from the traditional office.
With 1 Gig fiber internet, workspace, private acreage and built-in recreation, the retreat can support a Utah corporate offsite where the team can work, play and spend meaningful time together in one location.
Private Events & Weddings
A Small Overnight Retreat With a Very Large Outdoor Possibility
The overnight capacity is intentionally smaller than the outdoor setting. That creates an unusual opportunity for groups that want their closest family, wedding party or hosts staying together while using the broader acreage for an approved gathering.
The approximately one-acre lawn creates the potential for larger outdoor weddings, corporate gatherings and private events with expansive views surrounding the celebration.
Larger events would use separate event pricing and require advance written approval. Event size, parking, temporary structures, sanitation, vendors, fire safety, noise requirements and any governmental permits must be reviewed before an event is confirmed.
Outdoor Gathering Space
Let the Landscape Become the Backdrop
One-Acre Lawn
A large outdoor area creates flexibility for approved layouts, ceremonies, dining or other programmed uses.
Views From Every Direction
The surrounding landscape can become part of the visual experience rather than requiring a constructed ballroom backdrop.
Private Setting
Five acres offer a very different atmosphere from sharing a commercial venue with unrelated guests.
Wedding-Party Home Base
A smaller overnight group can stay at the property before and after an approved event.
Pickleball Wedding Weekend
Turn the courts into part of the celebration with pre-wedding matches, family tournaments or casual play.
Separate Event Planning
Larger gatherings are handled separately from ordinary lodging so the event plan can be reviewed properly.
Why a Private Utah Retreat?
A Hotel Gives You Rooms. This Gives You a Place to Be Together.
For a group of fewer than 20, the experience can be completely different from occupying a collection of hotel rooms.
Private Courts
Walk outside and play instead of driving to public recreation.
Private Recreation
Theater, games, sauna, jacuzzi, firepit and play areas all remain within the group’s environment.
Private Acreage
The group gets five acres of breathing room instead of hallways, elevators and shared common areas.
Shared Time
People can gather naturally instead of coordinating which hotel room or lobby everyone should meet in.
Space for Children
Indoor and outdoor play areas give younger guests room to enjoy the retreat too.
Come Back to More
After exploring Utah, the group returns to another layer of recreation rather than simply returning to bedrooms.

Eagle Mountain Retreat FAQ
Planning Your Stay
How many overnight guests can stay at Eagle Mountain Retreat?
The retreat is designed for smaller groups and families and can sleep more than 18 guests. Final occupancy should always follow the current reservation terms for your stay.
Does the retreat have private pickleball courts?
Yes. The property features two oversized professional-style private pickleball courts suitable for group play, round robins and private tournament-style activities.
Is Eagle Mountain Retreat only for pickleball groups?
No. The courts are one of the property’s signature amenities, but families, Utah vacation groups, corporate teams, wedding parties and groups of friends can enjoy the broader five-acre setting.
What indoor entertainment is available?
Amenities include a 130-inch theater screen, pool table, foosball, air hockey, an indoor six-person sauna and an indoor children’s playset.
What outdoor amenities are available?
Outdoor amenities include double pickleball courts, a large lawn, wraparound view deck, jacuzzi, grill, group firepit, children’s play area and expansive private acreage.
Can I work remotely from the property?
Yes. The retreat offers 1 Gig fiber internet along with desk and office space for guests who need to work during their stay.
Is Eagle Mountain a good base for exploring Utah?
It can work especially well for groups that prefer a private retreat setting and plan to explore different Utah destinations by car. Utah has 15 ski resorts statewide along with extensive year-round outdoor recreation. Drive times vary by destination, traffic, weather and winter road conditions.
Can we hold a wedding at Eagle Mountain Retreat?
Potential private weddings and events should be submitted through the group and event inquiry process. The approximately one-acre lawn creates opportunities for larger outdoor concepts, but event attendance, pricing, parking, vendors, temporary structures and any required permits or approvals must be confirmed before the event is booked.
Can 150 or 200 people stay overnight?
No. Event attendance and overnight sleeping capacity are completely different. The home is intended for a much smaller overnight group. Any larger approved gathering would require separate event planning and would not increase the home’s overnight occupancy.
Can we use the retreat for a corporate offsite?
Yes. Smaller corporate groups can combine workspace and fiber internet with pickleball, indoor recreation, outdoor gathering areas and other Utah activities.
Is this a good property for children?
The retreat includes both indoor and outdoor children’s play areas, giving families additional recreation options for younger guests.
Why stay here instead of closer to one ski resort?
Travelers focused exclusively on one mountain may prefer lodging near that resort. Eagle Mountain Retreat is designed for groups that value private acreage, pickleball, entertainment, outdoor space and the ability to build a broader Utah itinerary rather than centering the entire trip around one resort.
